The Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency has released its inaugural list of Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citations on 12 November. The new citation recognises businesses that raise the bar in their efforts to improve gender equality, with a number of GCNA members named.

Helen Conway, Director of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, said ‘we know sustained and multi-faceted interventions are required to address the structural and cultural barriers that prevent women and men from equally participating at all levels of an organisation. This year’s citation holders have each demonstrated their commitment to maximising the full potential of their entire talent pool.’

GCNA commends the following members who received this prestigious citation: Allens; Commonwealth Bank of Australia; Deakin University; GHD; Griffith University; KPMG Australia; National Australia Bank; Shell Australia; Telstra; Transurban; and Westpac.
