Fable Food is a food company founded in 2019, specialising in creating delicious meaty food made from mushrooms, founded by chefs and scientists. We reimagine protein by crafting shiitake-mushroom-based products with an emphasis on flavour, texture, nutrition and minimal processing. Our founders include Jim Fuller (mushroom mycology, chemical engineering, nutritional science, and chef experience) and Michael Fox, who shifted toward a whole-food, plant-based path for health, ethics, and sustainability.
Our ambition has been clear from the start: we want to change the way people eat by providing options that are both delicious and better for the planet.
