We are the NSW Government’s land and property development organisation.
We are a State Owned Corporation working with government and the private and not-for-profit sectors to deliver exemplary housing projects that provide social and economic benefits to the people of NSW.
Our mission is to create more affordable and sustainable communities.
We aim to create innovative and productive places that demonstrate global standards of liveability, resilience, inclusion, affordability and environmental quality.
Our role is to help the Government achieve its urban management objectives.
We take a lead role in improving the supply, diversity and affordability of new housing in Sydney and NSW.
We do this through partnerships with government and the private and not-for-profit sectors that deliver industry-leading urban developments.
We are not a developer in the conventional sense. Our focus is on supporting the NSW Government’s housing affordability priorities and broader urban management objectives. We use our sites and our close working relationship with the private sector to deliver quality, socially inclusive community places, where people can grow and thrive – regardless of income levels or stages of life.
Our Sustainable Places Strategy incorporates four leadership goals and over thirty associated targets to guide the way we deliver new communities.
Our Strategy is founded on global commitments, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement and 100 Resilient Cities. We continue to monitor and report our performance and contribution towards these global commitments annually.
We are proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact.
