FYI Resources Ltd (FYI) is an emerging producer of high-quality critical minerals for use in the rapidly developing e-mobility (EV) market and high-tech, energy efficient applications. The Company’s objective is to develop its innovative, high-quality High Purity Alumina (HPA) project that create shareholder value.
HPA is a critical material for many high-tech products due to its unique characteristics and chemical properties that address high specification requirements in applications such as LED’s and sapphire glass products.
In April 2021, FYI released an updated feasibility study to produce HPA using our innovative flowsheet which demonstrated the project’s technical merits and outstanding investment metrics.
The long-term and promising outlook for HPA is driven by the booming EV and static energy storage markets. This critical mineral has the capacity to increase the power yield, longevity, functionality and overall safety of the battery cells when applied to battery separator and anode architecture.
