For 30 years Foamco has manufactured polyurethane foams for a broad spectrum of industries-including furniture, bedding and packaging, healthcare, audio, sports, transportation and marine. Our foam products are locally manufactured and distributed nationwide.
Foamco employs state-of-the-art Co2 foaming technology, positioning them as leaders in environmentally responsible manufacturing. Our production practices are specifically designed to have a positive impact on both the environment and the community.
At Foamco recycling is at the heart of sustainable practices. Not only do we recycle our own offcut but also collaborate with our customers to recycle additional foam offcuts. This joint effort effectively diverts around 1800 metric tonnes of waste from landfills each year, repurposing the recycled material into carpet underlay and contributing significantly to environmental conservation.
Foamco is committed to the welfare of their workforce and the broader community. As part of our work, we have supported The Salvation Army – mattress donations that assist people transitioning into permanent accommodation. We have also partnered with IIMPACT Australia and School for Life. Foamco contributes by sponsoring – IIMPACT provides regional learning centres for young girls. These centres not only tackle the literacy disparity but also provides them with a foundation for resilience and a brighter future. School For Life provides clean, safe schools, quality teachers and all the essentials that give children the confidence and knowledge to believe in a better future living in Uganda.
