The Bayton Cleaning Co Pty Ltd is an Australian family-owned and operated business founded by John Baylis in 1965. Since the time it was established, Bayton and its subsidiaries, have enjoyed strong and consistent growth leading to the creation of the Bayton Group. To date, it provides cleaning and related facility maintenance services nationally to a variety of industries including Health and Aged Care, Retail, Commercial, Hospitality and Industrial.

It also works in conjunction with the Bayton’s Group QEHS Management System that complies and is certified to ISO 9001- Quality, ISO 14001 – Environmental and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety. It provides Bayton Group the framework and pathway to driving continual improvement and active involvement of all its employees, contractors and suppliers who work on behalf of the Bayton Group. The QEHS requirements covers all activities conducted by Bayton internally and externally with all the interested parties. Risks within our business are identified, assessed, and controls are established and implemented to mitigate them. Similarly, opportunities are identified, evaluated, and pursued towards business stability and growth.

Bayton Group recognise the value of operating a sustainable business with an empowered supply chain that effectively manages the social, economic, and environmental impacts of sourcing and procurement processes. Its procurement values are aligned with the ISO 20400 – Sustainable Procurement Guidance. Bayton Group complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2018, the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), and relevant social, economic, and environmental legislation (national and state), industry best practices, and regulatory agency requirements. The Bayton Group also has an endorsed Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.

Aligned with the UN Climate Action of Net Zero by 2050, Bayton Group has commenced measurement of its carbon emissions based on procurement spend and set up plans to reduce its carbon emissions working towards Net Zero by 2028.
