Human rights reporting framework launched

UN Global Compact Network Australia | March 5, 2015

The world’s first comprehensive guidance for companies to report on how they respect human rights issues in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights has been launched.

The guidance, the United Nations Guiding Principles Reporting Framework, is the culmination of 18 months of research and consultation led by Shift and Mazars.

Companies from five different industries are early adopters of the framework – Unilever, Ericsson, H&M, Nestlé and Newmont. Many other companies across a range of industries are expected to start using the framework in 2015. The framework can be downloaded here.
