GCNA Anti-Corruption Leadership Group | Risk Assessment Workshop 2018 (Sydney)

24 Oct
2018

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Event Details

The Global Compact Network Australia (GNCA) invites you to a workshop to assist businesses with identifying bribery and corruption risk and designing and implementing risk assessments to manage those risks. These assessments are an essential component of regulatory compliance particularly in circumstances where we are seeing increased guidance and expectations from regulators about what risk assessments should look like. This workshop is about assisting you to effectively structure a risk assessment commensurate with the size and complexity of your business, as well as the industry and jurisdictions in which you operate.

This workshop will explain regulatory expectations regarding risk assessments, whether they be transaction specific, enterprise wide or related to entry into a particular country. The session will include participants from the extractive and financial services industries, who will provide insights regarding their risk assessment processes and the challenges they have faced.

Participants will be provided with an outline of the appropriate methodology for a risk assessment and will leave with an enhanced understanding of the key components and challenges of implementing bribery and corruption based risk assessment processes within their business.

The workshop is kindly hosted by Allens.
