To help Australian businesses navigate evolving sustainability reporting standards and expectations, the UN Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA) hosts a Sustainability Reporting Community of Practice (SRCoP), in collaboration with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). The SRCoP provides a collaborative and trusted environment where members can access insights, share challenges and explore solutions to meet both mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements.
This special SRCoP live session is open to a broader audience beyond the existing SRCoP community. It is particularly designed for Group 2 reporters, with a dedicated focus on finance teams preparing for their first disclosures under AASB S2. The session will also benefit Group 1 organisations reflecting on their initial reporting cycle, as well as Group 3 reporters seeking an early understanding of what lies ahead.
The session explores market-readiness for mandatory reporting, examining what early Group 1 reporting has revealed about the gaps and challenges of a first disclosure, and how organisations across the market are preparing for what lies ahead.
The webinar will address a key question: with a preparation window still open, what should a Group 2 entity be doing now to be ready?
