Event Details

The UN Global Compact Network Australia Annual Dinner aims to provide an opportunity for business, government and civil society leaders to share what a sustainable future looks like for Australia.

This year, the dinner will be held on United Nations Day – a day that marks the official establishment of the United Nations in 1945 and is devoted to raising awareness of the goals and achievements of the UN and amplifying our common agenda.

Join us at our annual dinner to mark the halfway point to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and meet with business and civil society leaders to discuss what a sustainable future looks like for Australia.

Speakers include:

  • Fiona Reynolds, Chair, UN Global Compact Network Australia
  • Kate Dundas, Executive Director, UN Global Compact Network Australia
  • Imogen Kane, 2023 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations
  • Isabelle Zhu-Maguire, Project Coordinator, MSDI Strategy and Engagement + Network Coordinator, SDSN Youth AusNZPac
  • James Thornton, CEO, Intrepid
  • Sunita Gloster, Board Member, UN Global Compact Network Australia

The evening will celebrate the achievements of our participants in the Australian business community and encourage Australian businesses to move forward faster by commitment to ambitious targets, as we mark the milestone of the halfway point to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Annual Dinner is designed for business leaders including c-suite, board members, sustainability professionals, human rights professionals, legal and compliance practitioners, civil society representatives, academia and government delegates.
