Australian Government Invites EOIs for Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group on Business and Human Rights

The Australian Government is establishing a Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group as part of its commitment to undertake a national consultation on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The group will provide expert advice and support broader consultations to be held at key points in 2017. The group will comprise business, industry, civil society and academia, with final membership to be determined by the Foreign Minister.

An Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the group is now open, with nominations due by COB Thursday 22 December 2016. The below nomination form and draft Terms of Reference outline how to nominate to the group. The group will be established early in 2017.
