Sustainability Reporting Community of Practice (SRCoP) Membership Terms &
Conditions
UN Global Compact Network Australia, effective date: 11 June 2026
1. Membership term and renewal
1.1 Membership of the Sustainability Reporting Community of Practice (SRCoP) operates on
an annual subscription basis, commencing on the date payment is received.
1.2 Memberships renew automatically each year unless cancelled in accordance with clause
4. To end your membership, you must cancel through https://unglobalcompact.org.au/my-
account/wps_subscriptions/ at least 14 days' before the renewal date
1.3 UNGCNA will send a renewal reminder to the contact email address at least 30 days
before the renewal date, confirming the renewal date, applicable fee, and clear cancellation
instructions.
2. Fees, pricing changes and indexation
2.1 The annual membership fee is as published on the UNGCNA website
(https://unglobalcompact.org.au/communities-of-practice/sustainability-reporting-community-
of-practice/) at the time of registration or renewal. Fees are charged from the date registered
and annually from that date.
2.2 UNGCNA may adjust the membership fee from year to year. Where an increase exceeds
CPI (as published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics for the preceding 12 months),
UNGCNA will provide at least 60 days' notice before the renewal date.
3. Membership inclusions and scope
3.1 SRCoP membership includes access to the following during the membership year:
– Monthly, live SRCoP calls conducted through Zoom (session schedule published at
least 3 months in advance)
– Access to the SRCoP Learning Platform, including discussion forums, curated
resource library and key takeaways from sessions
– Relevant guidance materials produced by UNGCNA for SRCoP members
3.2 The following are not included: bespoke consulting, customised reporting advice, or
representation of member organisations in regulatory or legal proceedings.
3.3 Changes to the scope of membership inclusions will be communicated to members with
reasonable notice. Where a change materially reduces the value of membership, clause 4
applies.
4. Cancellation
4.1 Members may cancel at any time through https://unglobalcompact.org.au/my-
account/wps_subscriptions/ but members will continue to have access until the end of the
subscription year.
4.2 To avoid automatic renewal, written notice must be received at least 30 days before the
renewal date.
4.3 Cancellation takes effect at the end of the one year period from the registration date.
Access to SRCoP resources continues until that date.
5. Suspension and termination for breach
5.1 UNGCNA may suspend access to SRCoP resources if payment has not been received
within 7 days of the due date, after providing written notice to the member.
5.2 Either party may terminate membership immediately if the other party commits a material
breach that is not remedied within 30 days of written notice specifying the breach.
5.3 UNGCNA may terminate a membership where a member's conduct breaches SRCoP
community policies, including:
– In breach of Chatham House Rule under which live SRCoP sessions are conducted;
– Using membership or session participation to solicit business from other members;
– Engaging in anti-competitive conduct, including any exchange of sensitive
information that may contravene the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth); or
– Conduct that is otherwise materially disruptive to the SRCoP community or its
members.
6. Refunds
6.1 Fees are non-refundable for partial-year cancellations, except as required by the
Australian Consumer Law.
6.2 Where UNGCNA failed to provide renewal notice as required under clause 1.3, a
member may request a full refund of the renewal payment within 30 days of the charge.
UNGCNA will process eligible refund requests within 30 days.
7. Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, UNGCNA's total liability to a member arising from or in
connection with these Terms is limited to the membership fees paid by that member in the 12
months preceding the claim.
7.2 UNGCNA excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost
data, or reputational harm, except where such exclusion is prohibited by the Australian
Consumer Law.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded
under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy and data
8.1 UNGCNA collects personal information (including contact details and organisational
information) for the purpose of administering SRCoP membership and delivering member
communications. This is handled in accordance with UNGCNA's Privacy Policy, available at
https://unglobalcompact.org.au/privacy-policy/.
8.2 On termination of membership, UNGCNA will retain member data only as required by
law or legitimate organisational record-keeping purposes. Members may request deletion of
personal data by contacting secretariat@unglobalcompact.org.au.
9. Variations to these terms
9.1 UNGCNA may update these Terms from time to time. Changes to non-material terms
(such as contact details or formatting) will be notified by email and take effect 14 days after
notice.
9.2 Changes to material terms (including fees, cancellation rights, or liability) will be notified
at least 30 days in advance. Members who do not wish to accept material changes may
cancel under clause 4 before the changes take effect.
10. Exit process
10.1 On cancellation or termination, UNGCNA will issue a final tax invoice confirming any
outstanding amounts.
10.2 Member access to SRCoP platforms and resources ceases at the end of the final
membership period.
10.3 Where membership ends early by mutual agreement, the parties may record settled
obligations in writing.
