Global Greenwashing:
Time to stop the spin cycle

Course Overview

Craft powerful, credible ESG narratives to help drive real impact.

This course empowers organisations to communicate confidently and accurately about environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) topics. By mastering the principles of responsible ESG storytelling, you’ll learn how to avoid common pitfalls and contribute meaningfully to global sustainability efforts.

As businesses increasingly communicate on ESG topics – both in marketing and sustainability reporting –  it’s essential that their messages are not only transparent but also resonate with audiences. Accurate, relevant, and credible ESG narratives are key to building trust and driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.

Join a dynamic learning experience where you’ll gain insights from leading experts and collaborate with peers to explore what makes an ESG narrative accurate and truly impactful. Discover how your organisation can be a force for good—shaping a better, more sustainable future.

With greenwashing enforcement a priority in many jurisdictions, this course equips you to proactively safeguard your organisation from legal, reputational, and market risks. Take the lead in building integrity and trust through responsible ESG communication.

“The world is in a race against time. We cannot afford slow movers, fake movers or any form of greenwashing”

– António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations

To help achieve SDG12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, it is important to improve the quality and availability of information about environmental and sustainability issues in the market. Two specific targets of SDG 12 are particularly relevant:

Target 12.6 of SDG 12: Encourage companies to adopt sustainable practices and sustainability reporting

Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle.

Target 12.8 of SDG 12: Promote universal understanding of sustainable lifestyles

By 2030, ensure that people everywhere have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature.
