Trish Pegorer

Managing Director, Mutti Australia Pty Ltd

Trish Pegorer is a senior FMCG executive with over 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing and general management across global food brands. A Commerce graduate of the University of Sydney, she has spent the past 14 years building and scaling market-leading Italian FMCG brands, including Mutti and Monini, in Australia.

Trish launched Mutti into the Australian retail market in 2011 and Monini in 2014, playing a central role in the rapid growth of both brands. In 2019, she was appointed Managing Director of Mutti Australia Pty Ltd. Under her leadership, Australia has become Mutti Group’s largest market outside Europe and one of its most strategically important export markets.

As Managing Director, Trish is responsible for setting the long-term growth strategy for Mutti Australia, leading a senior sales and marketing team across major grocery, independent retail and foodservice channels, and driving brand, range and distribution expansion. The business has earned strong industry recognition, including Woolworths Grocery Supplier of the Year (2022), Woolworths Cartology Campaign of the Year (2024), Foodland Food Supplier of the Year (2025), and multiple national supplier nominations. Most recently, Mutti achieved market leadership in Australia across Canned Tomatoes and Total Shelf-Stable Tomatoes (Circana MAT 28/12/2025).

Beyond commercial leadership, Trish is Mutti’s International ESG Stream Leader, supporting the development and localisation of the company’s medium to long-term ESG strategy across key export markets. Her work centres on translating global ESG commitments into credible, market-relevant action aligned with evolving regulatory, customer and stakeholder expectations.

Trish is a passionate advocate for climate and community resilience. She is a board director of Climate Force, an environmental NGO focused on scalable organic reforestation in Far North Queensland, and a Strategic Advisor to social enterprise Giwewrap, which donates 50% of profits to charity. Through these roles, she brings external perspective and purpose-driven insight back into her corporate leadership.
Trish is also a proud mother of two teenage boys and values time outdoors, yoga, and community involvement as essential to balanced and sustainable leadership.
