General Manager of the Competition Enforcement and Cartels Branch, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)

Leah is the General Manager of the Competition Enforcement and Cartels Branch of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).  In this role, she leads the teams responsible for cartel enforcement under both the civil and criminal cartel provisions in the Competition and Consumer Act.  This includes price fixing, market sharing and bid rigging cases.  Leah also overseas the administration of the immunity policy for cartel conduct.  Leah has previously led a range of other functions within the ACCC, including consumer protection and competition enforcement teams, and between 2019 and 2023 led the establishment of a specialist financial services competition function within the ACCC.

Leah came to the ACCC in 2011 after over 10 years as a lawyer in private practice, where she worked on large-scale competition litigation, mergers and advised clients in relation to a broad range of competition and consumer law issues.
