Lauren Zanetti
Lauren is a Senior Lawyer at the Human Rights Law Centre. The focus her work is advancing the business and human rights legislative and policy landscape in Australia, with a particular emphasis on addressing modern slavery risk and promoting corporate human rights due diligence.
Prior to this role, Lauren worked as a lawyer at Clayton Utz, an Associate Director at the business and human rights advisory firm Pillar Two and at the Australian Human Rights Commission, where she led the Commission’s policy work on business and human rights.
Lauren’s work is informed by her Masters of Laws from the University of Melbourne focusing on human rights. Lauren is a member of the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute’s Taxonomy Technical Expert Group, the Government’s Modern Slavery Expert Advisory Group and the Australian OECD National Contact Point’s Governance and Advisory Board.
