Alexandra Banks

Alexandra is a Partner in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in Sydney, Australia and is the EY Oceania Sustainability leader. Alex specialises in sustainability and ESG transformation, particularly in relation to sustainable supply chains and responsible sourcing.

A qualified lawyer with 10+ years’ experience in sustainability, Alex worked for an international environmental non-profit and the Australian Government prior to joining EY in 2019. Alex has lived and worked in northern Europe and across Southeast Asia and Oceania, spending much time in forests and communities at the frontline of sustainability.

Alex has a particular passion for identifying and addressing the most complex social and environmental impacts in global value chains, such as modern slavery, biodiversity loss and climate change.
