Young Professionals Networking Evening | Empowering emerging leaders for the road to COP31

12 May
2026

Sydney
5.30pm - 7.30pm AEST

Event Details

To mark the ongoing expansion of the UN Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA) Young Professionals Network, we are proud to host our first in-person Sydney event on 12 May 2026 at the offices of Lander & Rogers.

Held on the evening before the UNGCNA’s flagship conference, UNiting Business LIVE Australia 2026, this networking evening offers emerging leaders a dedicated space to build cross-sector connections and grow their professional community.

With a strategic focus on the lead up to COP31, the session will feature guest speakers discussing how young professionals can effectively contribute to global climate negotiations at COP31, both individually and through their organisations.

By integrating insights from the State of the Global Climate 2025 report and addressing the importance of youth mental health and climate hope, the event aims to empower the next generation to drive the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) forward.

Please note: UNGCNA participants are entitled to complimentary tickets as part of their membership and the guest list will be reviewed to ensure eligibility.
