Lasting Legacies – Understanding the regulatory and policy levers to drive business respect for human rights

Creating a lasting legacy in human rights requires intelligence, tenacity, passion and courage. GCNA members are at the forefront of the corporate conversation about human rights. As your business responds to new legislation and grapples with the role of business in respecting human rights we invite you to learn from one of Australia’s human rights trailblazers, the Honourable Justice Michael Kespect for human rights, and offer advice for corporate leaders to drive the business and human rights agenda forward.

Based on Justice Kirby’s experience with other business and human rights related regulatory change, this will include a discussion of the likely impacts of forthcoming Modern Slavery legislation on broader Australian business’ human rights risk management.
