Indigenous Economic Empowerment Breakfast (Perth)

30 Oct
2018

7:45 am - 9:00 am

Event Details

The Global Compact Network Australia (GCNA) invites you to an ‘in-conversation’ breakfast to bring together leaders on Indigenous economic empowerment and hear their stories about how they have supported and promoted Indigenous rights and the links between economic empowerment and the Sustainable Development Goals.

This panel discussion will provide corporate Australia with a practical, case study perspective on how to support the rights of Indigenous people, and provide innovative ideas for businesses to contribute to the SDGs. Speakers for the breakfast will be confirmed this week, but include Greg Welsh, one of the founders of Winya Indigenous Furniture, who recently won an award as an SDG Pioneer for his work on Indigenous Economic Empowerment.

We hope that the discussion will be interactive as possible and we will encourage participation and questions from the audience.

Please register here.

This event is kindly supported by Deloitte.

++ Please forward this invite to your Perth based colleagues if you are unable to attend. ++
