Event Details

The UN Global Compact Network Australia is delighted to invite you to an exclusive, invitation only event with global corporate sustainability leader, Lord Michael Hastings of Scarisbrick, CBE (biography).

The UN Global Compact is founded on the belief that business has a distinct and critical role to play in helping solve the world’s most complex problems. Lord Hastings will join the GCNA to discuss the responsibilities, opportunities and challenges business faces and how it can help tackle local, regional and global issues. As a former BBC journalist and lifelong activist, he has a unique ability to distil difficult issues and present real-world observations and practical responses.

Lord Hastings will also bring us global insights from the recent World Economic Forum where he sits on the WEF’s Global Corporate Citizenship Committee and the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit where he moderated proceedings.

This event provides you with an opportunity to hear from this pre-eminent global leader in intimate surrounds.
