Advanced Climate Reporters Community of Practice

The UN Global Compact Network Australia, in partnership with Melbourne Climate Futures, delivered a dedicated Advanced Climate Reporters Community of Practice (ACRCoP) throughout 2024 and 2025. The ACRCoP brought together ASX-30 listed companies to discuss common challenges and opportunities in climate reporting.

ACRCoP sessions were conducted as in-person roundtable discussions held under the Chatham House Rule, with topics including:

  • Integrating Nature Positive
  • Legal and governance issues associated with climate-related disclosures
  • Integrating scenario analysis into corporate and financial planning processes.

The purpose of the Advanced Climate Reporters Community of Practice

The ACRCoP offered a space to share insights, interact with experts, identify common challenges and build capability to support the successful transition to mandatory reporting. The ACRCoP examineed both the foundational groundwork, and the internal processes required to ensure effective compliance with mandatory reporting obligations.
