A global movement working #TogetherForTheSDGs
In 2015, world leaders made a historic commitment to the rights and well-being of all people on a thriving planet, adopting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A decade on, these Global Goals remain the shared blueprint for a fairer, more sustainable future, and business has a critical role to play in delivering them.
What is SDG Flag Day?
Launched by the Global Compact Network Netherlands in 2020, SDG Flag Day has grown into a truly global movement. Last year, thousands of companies, embassies, NGOs, government institutions and civil society organisations raised the SDG flag together, sending a unified signal of commitment to the Goals.
How to participate virtually
UN Global Compact Network Australia invites your organisation to join this year’s SDG Flag Day campaign. By raising the flag digitally, you help build public awareness of the SDGs and demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to achieving them — alongside a growing community of Australian businesses, government bodies and civil society groups.
