Beck Dawson

Previously described as “the person paid to worry about Sydney”, Beck founded the Resilient Sydney initiative at the City of Sydney as the first Chief Resilience Officer from 2015-2025, leading a collaborative impact mission to drive local government leadership and cross system collaboration for improved community resilience in Greater Sydney.

Beck has worked in government, business and the cultural sectors, always with a focus on change programs and initiatives that build capacity, share knowledge and drive actions that make organisations, places and communities greener, safer and more resilient.
