Dr Isabelle Phillips GAICD

Isabelle Phillips PhD, is a leadership researcher and the Founder of consultancy Mackerel Sky – Leadership Matters. Her Australian inclusive leadership and Wellbeing projects include Mindfulness for the Global Village, KARI Leadership and the Sustainable Brain project. Her enterprise work focuses on assisting leaders to create the conditions for workforce wellbeing and performance. Isabelle has co-authored the UTS MBA program and is a winner of the UTS 2023 Top Teacher Award. Her research investigates the neurobiological drivers of workplace performance, wellbeing and sustainability in tumultuous times.

Isabelle brings evidence-based approaches to contemporary leadership challenges, she regularly works with government, corporate and multinational clients in Australia, New Zealand, China and Singapore. Isabelle holds non-executive director roles in the NGO and Foundation sectors. She is passionate about innovative and engaging learning design. Isabelle enjoys connecting industry clients with her colleagues and students in the UTS business and transdisciplinary schools.
