Cath Brokenborough

Executive Lead, First Nations and Indigenous Engagement, Lendlease

Cath is committed to ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Communities’ cultural heritage and traditional custodianship of the land and sea is recognized, and employment, procurement and leadership opportunities and other initiatives are developed in consultation with Indigenous people and implemented by Corporate Australia and various levels of Government.

She is a Facilitator for a Justice Reinvestment Project in Bourke NSW. She is a Member of the Business Council of Australia Business Indigenous Network; the Indigenous Corporate Network; National Congress of Australian First Peoples; Australian Institute of Company Directors; and the United Nations’ Global Compact Network Australia’s Indigenous Engagement Working Group.

Cath has 28 years of construction and property industry management experience including construction, risk, environment, heritage and safety management, skills and competency course development, management and delivery, and mentoring women and Indigenous Business people in the industry.

Cath has previous Board and Board Committee experience on NSW Government Building and Construction Industry Long Service Leave Corporation; LendLease Superannuation Fund and Fund Policy Committee; NSW Building Industry Skills Committee Centre; and CFMEU NSW.
