Amelia Senneck

Company Secretary and Head of Business Integrity, Santos

Amelia Senneck is Company Secretary and Head of Business Integrity for Santos’ global operations. In this role, Amelia manages the secretariat function, misconduct and whistleblowing investigations, key regulatory inquiries, reporting and investigations and the broader business integrity program, including Santos’ Code of Conduct, policies and training. Prior to this role, Amelia was Head of Compliance for Santos and responsible for designing and implementing Santos’ global compliance program at a time of significant growth for the company and expansion of its operational footprint to PNG, Timor-Leste and Alaska. A key focus for Amelia in that role was the design and implementation of Santos’ enhanced anti-corruption and sanctions compliance program, appropriate for application both domestically in Australia and to Santos’ operations in higher risk environments and responsive to the expected foreign bribery reforms. Amelia joined Santos in 2014 and over her time has held a number of legal and commercial roles for the company.

Amelia holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Management and International Business) from Adelaide University and has broad legal, corporate and commercial experience, gained across many sectors and jurisdictions. Amelia started her career has a commercial litigator and, prior to joining Santos, worked in private practice in Australia and the UK and as in-house counsel, including for Origin Energy in Melbourne.
