VIDEO | Oceans and Business: Supporting ocean sustainability and climate action

Sarah Day | July 7, 2022

The world’s oceans play a unique role in addressing climate change. The latest analysis from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change shows that human activities are causing ocean warming, acidification, and oxygen loss. The ocean has taken up more than 90% of the excess heat in the climate system, doubling the rate of ocean warming since 1993. This video aims to enhance the awareness of the relationship between oceans and climate change among Australian businesses and demonstrate how businesses can contribute to maintaining sustainable oceans.
