Event Details

We invite GCNA members to join us in conversation with Linda Kromjong, Secretary-General of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), the world’s largest private sector network. Drawing on Linda’s extensive experience, the discussion will explore international corporate sustainability trends and developments, and how businesses are responding.

Linda Kromjong took up her post as Secretary-General of the IOE in Geneva in May 2015.

The IOE is the largest network of the private sector in the world, with more than 150 business and employer organisation members. In the social and labour policy debate taking place in the International Labour Organization, across the UN and multilateral system, and in the G20 and other emerging processes, the IOE is the recognised global voice of business.

Prior to joining the IOE, Linda was Vice-President, Labour Relations International and Human Rights for Deutsche Post DHL, the recognised world leader in logistics services. Linda started her career in the hospitality industry in the Netherlands and has many years’ experience in senior positions in general management, human resources, labour relations and business and human rights.

Linda Kromjong is a UN Global Compact board member, and also serves on the Mega Sporting Events, UNHRC Livelihood and Global Apprenticeships Network Advisory Boards.
