Kylie Porter

Group Head, Sustainability, SunRice Group

Kylie Porter is the Group Head of Sustainability for the SunRice Group; a global FMCG business operating in ten countries and with a presence in over 45 countries globally. Kylie is responsible for implementing the Group’s sustainability strategy across core areas of climate, water, human rights, packaging waste and community investment.

Prior to joining SunRice in February 2023, Kylie was the Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA) where she transformed the organisation into the largest business-led sustainability network in Australia.

As a sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience, Kylie holds deep expertise in responsible business and corporate responsibility practices and strategies including advising senior management and boards on managing ESG risk. Kylie also has experience in developing and implementing policies across thematic areas such as climate change, human rights, including modern slavery, and international development. Kylie has held roles in numerous sectors including in financial services, international development and consulting services in Australia, the UK and Singapore.

Kylie holds a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Arts and a Masters’ in Social Science (International Development), is a Graduate of the AICD Directors’ Course and a Fellow of the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethical Leadership. She is the Deputy Chair of the Cross-Sector Partnerships Initiatives’ Advisory Group and was formerly a member of the Australian Government’s Modern Slavery Expert Advisory Group, a board member of the United Nations Global Compact and a member of the Australian Government’s External Advisory Group for new International Development Policy.
