Jessica Tinsley

General Counsel, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Jessica Tinsley is Director of Workplace Relations and General Counsel for the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In this role Jess leads the Chamber’s policy and advocacy work in workplace relations, international labour issues and modern slavery. She has represented Australian business at the International Labour Organisation.

Before starting at ACCI, Jess was an adviser to the former Commonwealth Attorney General and Minister for Industrial Relations. Prior to that she practiced workplace law at Clayton Utz in Brisbane, as well as working at law firm Slaughter and May in London. She has extensive experience advising businesses on their modern slavery compliance obligations, and had policy responsibility for the area during her time in the Attorney General’s office.
