Event Details

The purpose of the UNGCNA is to empower businesses to act responsibly, set a positive example and create a sustainable future. Supporting a constitutionally enshrined First Nations Voice to Parliament is one way for participating organisations to demonstrate their commitment to our Ten Principles and to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this interactive, participant-only, virtual event, attendees will:

  • Hear from Fiona Reynolds, Chair, UN Global Compact Network Australia on how support for a constitutionally enshrined First Nations Voice to Parliament is one way for participants to embody their commitment to the UN Global Compact Ten Principles.
  • Hear directly from senior leaders of Australian businesses on the approach that they have taken in engaging with different internal stakeholders on the Voice to Parliament referendum.
  • Learn about different actions companies can take, ranging from raising awareness, educating employees and dispelling myths, all the way to mobilising external organisational endorsement.

Featured speakers include:

This event is participant-only and will be held under the Chatham House rule. If you work at a participating organisation of the UN Global Compact Network Australia and would like to attend, contact us to receive the registration link.
