The UN Global Compact, in partnership with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, are calling on business to take action to diminish the suffering of refugees through a Business Action Pledge in Response to the Refugee Crisis.

UNHCR has estimated the current refugee crisis has displaced 60 million people, including 19.5 million refugees.

Some companies are already supporting UN agencies and partners by providing much needed financial contributions. Beyond financial support, the UN is also looking for business leaders to contribute through their operations and supply chains in countries affected by the refugee crisis.
