Dr Cameron Kelly

Dr Cameron Kelly is the General Counsel at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). In this role, Cameron oversees the Agency’s legal, governance and secretariat functions across all forms of financial assistance and technology types that ARENA supports. Prior to ARENA, Cameron was in-house legal for a Middle East – based renewable energy project developer, where he advised on almost a gigawatt of project financed onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage projects across Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Turkey. Cameron completed his PhD in law with the University of Eastern Finland’s Centre for Climate, Energy and Environmental Law.
